Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
- 3+ years in a public accounting firm, preferably from the Big 4, experience preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive work experience in Accounting.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
- Experience in managing and developing staff.
- CPA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of the general ledger system.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
- Ensure activities are designed to ensure consistent application of the organization’s policies and procedures, and by regulatory requirements and GAAP.
- Develop and manage staff to ensure reporting deadlines and filing requirements are achieved with a high standard of accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
- Assist all departments company-wide with a high level of service to ensure employee satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
- CPA preferred.
