Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years in a public accounting firm, preferably from the Big 4, experience preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive work experience in Accounting.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Experience in managing and developing staff.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration and maintenance of the general ledger system.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure activities are designed to ensure consistent application of the organization’s policies and procedures, and by regulatory requirements and GAAP.
• Develop and manage staff to ensure reporting deadlines and filing requirements are achieved with a high standard of accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
• Assist all departments company-wide with a high level of service to ensure employee satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• CPA preferred.
