Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in public policy, advocacy, or related fields, with a focus on financial health and equitable economic growth.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and advancing policies that promote financial health, individual wealth creation, and an economy that works for all.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills, with a results-oriented approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex policy issues into accessible content.
- Proven ability to build relationships and coalitions with a variety of stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for the PolicyCenter’s mission and a commitment to driving meaningful change.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and advocate for innovative public policy and legislative opportunities that promote financial health and an economy that works for all.
- Leverage the firm’s assets and expertise to drive impactful policy changes and create economic opportunities for underserved communities.
- Design and implement advocacy strategies to engage government officials and advance policy recommendations at local, state, and federal levels.
- Build and sustain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including policymakers, industry leaders, and community organizations, to support policy initiatives.
- Represent the PolicyCenter in meetings with external stakeholders, including elected officials, policymakers, and strategic partners.
- Convene and coordinate networks of external partners to elevate the profile of the PolicyCenter’s work and advance advocacy efforts.
- Collaborate with JPMC business leaders and colleagues across Corporate Responsibility to align policy initiatives with the firm’s strategic goals.
- Work with Communications and Public Affairs teams to develop and execute communication strategies that effectively convey policy priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in federal, state, or local government.
- Advanced degree in public policy, economics, or related field.
