Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance or accounting, or related majors including business
- CPA preferred
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- High level of attention to detail and experience in financial accounting and financial reporting
- Experience working in a high-growth, dynamic environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Data-driven problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and drive quality and process improvements
Responsibilities
- Learn and understand the Ins & Outs of our revenue process for all lines of business
- Complete operational accounting and reporting, including detailed calculation, analysis, reconciliation, and reporting of general ledger accounts
- Collaborate with Data team to extract relevant information to perform revenue calculations. Collaborate with the Controller and external accounting to bring operations in-house
- Manage sales tax reporting, payment, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly margin analyses for reporting
- Enhancement or creation of internal controls around revenue recognition, credit and collections
- Partners cross-functionally with Finance, Data, IT, Legal, and Business Development department leads
- Assist with financial statement audits and ERP implementation
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
