Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Supply Chain, or related field required
- Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain sustainability, emissions accounting, ESG strategy, responsible sourcing, or similar fields
- Strong experience in data analysis and reporting, particularly related to value chain emissions or sustainability metrics is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead Projects and Develop Strategies: Provide leadership and project management to promote responsible sourcing, optimize distribution, and increase capacity utilization. Collaborate with suppliers to align their operations with AT&T’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) values and our Principles of Conduct for Suppliers.
- Drive Data Quality and Transparency: Analyze and report value chain emissions data, ensuring accuracy and transparency in AT&T’s sustainability metrics. Identify actionable insights to reduce AT&T’s environmental footprint and improve reporting quality.
- Drive Sustainable Purchasing and Supplier Engagement: Partner with suppliers to implement sustainable purchasing processes to reduce social, environmental, and economic impacts and risks in the supply chain. Act as a trusted advisor, helping suppliers set science-based emissions reduction targets, improve resource efficiency (e.g., energy, water, land), and adopt stronger social and environmental practices. Drive efforts to mitigate supply chain risks, optimize resource utilization, and achieve cost savings while advancing AT&T’s sustainability goals.
- Ensure Compliance and Promote Social Responsibility: Interpret regulations, manage compliance activities, and champion corporate responsibility standards in the supply chain. Support labor practices, human rights, health and safety, and ethics through third-party auditing and supplier collaboration.
- Collaborate Across Teams and Manage Supplier Performance: Work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive waste reduction, performance improvement, risk mitigation, and cost savings. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve sustainability outcomes.
