Senior Specialist Engineering

Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
NJDEP N-2 Industrial Wastewater Treatment System License
Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills
Experience with Root Cause Analysis, Lean Six Sigma, Failure Mode Effects Analysis, or reliability engineering
Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at various levels, including cross-functional teams, senior management and external vendors. Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Detail Oriented & Organized: strong attention to detail in managing complex activities; ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet aggressive deadlines.
Continuous Improvement Mindset: Proactive approach to identify process inefficiencies, develop solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The WSE will be the Subject Matter Expert for all wastewater equipment and processes.
Ensure compliance to municipal, state, and federal wastewater requirements.
Handle various projects related to wastewater, water, utility, and energy.
Address system nonconformances and address system deficiencies in a proactive manner.
Work cross-functionally to coordinating with different departments and external partners.
Establish systems and processes to measure and drive performance and improvement.
Work with maintenance teams on preventative and corrective tasks.
Investigate complex problems and developing innovative solutions.
Develop and implementing initiatives to support the corporate sustainability vision.

Experience with PI Process Book application.
Technical understanding of industrial site power, utilities, boilers, piping design, control systems, and compressed air, steam, and condensate systems.
Professional Engineering License or PMP.
