Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a warehousing, logistics or manufacturing environment)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehousing, logistics or manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of inventory accuracy, adjustments, and transactional error corrections.Works directly with Material Handler Inventory team on day-to-day tasks.
- Responsible for Erlanger projects and activities aligned with the Supply Chain Connected Flow initiative.
- Owns consumable packaging material management, purchasing and expense accounts associated with these items.
- Develop technical expertise on use of WMS, IMPACT, and Process Weaver.
- Responsible for reporting out Oracle WMS issues, working with support team on corrective actions and initiating WMS enhancements.
- Owns site contingency planning and readiness.
- Responsible for material storage optimization and warehouse layout.
- Responsible for inventory audits for non-GE owned Material.
- Supports and owns site strategies both operationally and financially.
- Ownership of KPIs and development of metrics.
- Identifies & drives problem solving
- Participates in and leads shop improvement projects/events.
- Participates in and/or leads daily and weekly operating meetings and rhythms.
- Maintain strong interpersonal relationships within union environment.
