Requirements

  • 10 years of technical recruiting experience, including at least 6 years in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Proven success recruiting for hard-to-fill roles in Machine Learning, Robotics, Mechanical or Software Engineering
  • Proven track record of building employment brands and storytelling
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with engineering leaders and C-level executives
  • Experience using Lever, Gem, and LinkedIn Recruiter to build and manage pipelines
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, multitask, and prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • A data-informed mindset with a knack for diagnosing and solving hiring bottlenecks
  • A passion for connecting people to opportunity and building great teams
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity; you understand how to weigh tradeoffs between efficiency and scalable processes with little direction or supervision

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across several critical technical roles simultaneously
  • Partner with engineering and executive leadership to understand hiring needs and define talent strategies
  • Source, engage, and close top talent using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Lever, and your own creative strategies
  • Drive structured interview processes, including kickoffs, debriefs, and continuous improvements
  • Maintain a high-quality candidate experience at every touchpoint of the interview process
  • Provide market insights and data to inform decision-making and help hiring managers stay competitive
  • Represent Machina Labs’ values and mission in the external talent market

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, aviation, or automotive industries
  • Experience recruiting under ITAR or in regulated environments
  • Experience recruiting in disruptive technology companies (bleeding edge)
