Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • May require technical certification or Associate Degree
  • Generally, 4-6 years’ experience in area of responsibility
  • Sunbird dcTrack or similar DCIM tool experience
  • ITSM process experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tool

Responsibilities

  • Serves as senior and/or lead
  • Acts as a key point of contact with clients on data center operations issues
  • Resolves escalated data center service issues
  • Manages problems utilizing defined problem and change management policies and procedures
  • Supports data center infrastructure by installing, maintaining, and repairing hardware in order to accommodate data center growth
  • May provide direction and guidance to other team members while continuing to provide day-to-day support
  • Controls data center inventory
  • Captures and reports metrics to leadership
  • Plans and coordinates with IT, Facilities Management, cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure appropriate data center capacity / scalability
  • Tracks, plans and communicates capacity and constraints in available datacenter resources
