Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- May require technical certification or Associate Degree
- Generally, 4-6 years’ experience in area of responsibility
- Sunbird dcTrack or similar DCIM tool experience
- ITSM process experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tool
Responsibilities
- Serves as senior and/or lead
- Acts as a key point of contact with clients on data center operations issues
- Resolves escalated data center service issues
- Manages problems utilizing defined problem and change management policies and procedures
- Supports data center infrastructure by installing, maintaining, and repairing hardware in order to accommodate data center growth
- May provide direction and guidance to other team members while continuing to provide day-to-day support
- Controls data center inventory
- Captures and reports metrics to leadership
- Plans and coordinates with IT, Facilities Management, cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure appropriate data center capacity / scalability
- Tracks, plans and communicates capacity and constraints in available datacenter resources
