- Qualitative and Quantitative Analytical expertise – Ability to dissect complex problems and conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis, and synthesize large amounts of data. Deliver data-driven recommendations that are innovative and pragmatic.
- Planning and Execution – Must excel at project management to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and to the highest quality. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Commercial and Business acumen – Possess a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer behaviors, and financial principles, enabling effective decision-making that optimizes business performance and drives sustainable growth.
- Strategic Thinking – Thinks big picture and can strategically think through how channel evolution (including maintenance of existing channels) can benefit the entire market not just their own area.
- Change management – Able to effectively work with teams through channel conflict and build the desire for channel diversification across markets.
- Highly collaborative – Acts as an incubator of channels, and works across marketing, sales, product and functions to pilot new channels whilst balancing channel conflict and driving business performance.
- Established relationships and expertise – Have a network of payers to call on and relationships to leverage as we build offerings and get feedback.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the US market and globally as needed.
- Analyze competitor offerings and industry dynamics to inform strategy and execution plan.
- Conduct detailed analysis of financial data and analytics to identify trends, inform conclusions and support decision making.
- Build financial models and assessments to support opportunity sizing, scenario planning, and portfolio optimization.
- Support acquisition due diligence through target identification and screening, commercial due diligence and post-acquisition value creation.
- Conduct build/buy/partner analysis on new offers and ways to develop capabilities and/or scale.
- Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and develop a point of view.
- Manage cross-functional teams to ensure that initiatives are executed seamlessly.
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and working towards the same goals, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on progress.
- Support strategy and channel deployment discussions with senior leadership, through analysis, reporting and development of presentations.
