Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales management experience in the media/advertising space
  • Experience with digital marketing solutions is required
  • Experience with radio/broadcast solutions is required
  • Track record in exceeding budgets and outperforming the marketplace
  • Proven ability to recruit, lead, motivate and coach others to achieve revenue results
  • Must have experience in local media or broadcast and a strong understanding of digital advertising solutions
  • Positive, encouraging management style that will lead from the front – this is NOT a sit-behind the desk management position
  • Experience in putting together multi-media advertising campaigns

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, hands-on leadership across the Lubbock and Midland/Odessa markets, with consistent time split between both offices to ensure visible support, team alignment, and market performance.
  • Oversee all aspects of market operations with a primary focus on driving revenue, increasing profitability, and expanding new business across Townsquare’s media, entertainment, and digital platforms.
  • Develop, communicate, and execute a comprehensive vision and strategy for sustainable revenue and profit growth, ensuring alignment with Townsquare’s broader business goals.
  • Lead, recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales and content teams, instilling a strong culture of accountability, performance, and results.
  • Create and implement sales strategies that drive key account growth, integrated marketing campaigns, and robust new business development across both markets.
  • Provide strategic oversight and support to content teams (on-air and online), ensuring brand excellence and high-quality local programming that drives audience and advertiser value.
  • Prepare and manage the fiscal budget, with accountability for exceeding local advertising, live event, and digital services goals in both markets.
  • Ensure all regulatory and FCC compliance is met and licenses are maintained across both locations.
  • Represent Townsquare Media to key clients, community leaders, and organizations, building strong partnerships that enhance market reputation and business opportunity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Radio/Broadcast experience is preferred
