Requirements

  • BS/BA degree required; Master’s degree or CFA preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in FX or related markets
  • Demonstrate knowledge of FX products and market structure, ideally undergoing additional market courses or education
  • Proven track record of customer service orientation and effective presentation skills and a passion for client service
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to work in a team environment under high pressure
  • Creativity, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to learn continuously
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail, data analytical skills also beneficial
  • Proven high ethical standard demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Knowledge of both English and French is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Be a FX subject matter expert and act as a primary point of contact for clients wishing to use SSGM’s Principal FX Services
  • Manage a portfolio of assigned clients and build strong client relationships to facilitate wallet share growth
  • Market and develop assigned sales territories in order to identify institutional FX trading relationships and capture new business opportunities
  • Build a focused franchise through concise market analysis, data evaluation and execution insights. Provide access to value added services such our suite of proprietary indicators and unique research offering
  • Work closely with market traders to execute FX Transactions, spot and forward NDFs, FX algos and FX derivatives
  • Work closely with operations, legal, risk and relationship management to align opportunities within our corporate goals
  • Taking initiative to achieve sales performance goals by executing a sales plan
  • Leverage e-FX technology and data to drive effective business growth and trading volumes
  • Be fully aware of all procedures, best practices, escalation policies, and other codes of conduct relevant to the execution of the role.
