Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO)
- Board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease from an accredited institution
- Board-certified / board eligible in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant cardiology from an accredited institution
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Michigan
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care for patients with advanced heart failure and transplant needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including cardiothoracic surgeons and critical care intensivists
- Participate in inpatient rounding services for advanced heart failure patients
- Engage in educational and research opportunities within the cardiovascular practice
- Support the advanced heart failure clinic and its operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for the clinical care of patients with complex heart failure syndromes including those who might benefit from advanced heart failure therapies including LVAD and heart transplantation
- Desire to work in an environment focused on excellence in clinical care but also with opportunities for education, research and professional development
