Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 2 years of technical project management experience
- Six Sigma, Lean, TQM or process improvement experience
- Supply Chain, Logistics, and/or Transportation experience
- Ability to work flexible hours (some weekend/late hours may be required)
- Ability to travel up to 10% (domestically and/or internationally)
Responsibilities
- Lead 1–2 implementation projects, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and with high-quality results
- Understand business goals and use that insight to drive project planning, execution, and problem solving
- Maintain key project documentation, including plans, process flows, resource needs, and business cases
- Communicate progress clearly, lead project meetings, escalate risks, and support internal and external change management
- Influence stakeholders without authority and confidently challenge the status quo when needed
- Build strong relationships with project teams, customer stakeholders, and sales partners to support a smooth implementation
- Track and report financials, including resource hours and billing, and support go-live and knowledge transfer to operations
- Apply a structured implementation methodology to map current processes, capture customer expectations, and design future-state workflows
- Recommend and support improvements to tools, processes, and implementation best practices
- Guide and mentor new team members while ensuring compliance with internal control standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional certification preferred
- Project management experience, with the proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections, and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view
- Strong communication skills: strong listener with exceptional facilitation skills and the ability to tell the story and connect to your audience
- Ability to organize, design, develop and deliver projects for internal and external audiences at all levels
- Ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts internally and externally at all levels
- Experience working and thriving in a continuous improvement environment
- Experience with lean processes and tools such as value stream mapping, A3 project management, visual management, Pareto Analysis, and fishbone diagrams
- Experience and comfort in dealing with ambiguity and able to deliver with minimal oversight
- Experience working directly with customers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
