Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years in warranty claims processing for an automotive manufacturer or a related field.
- Strong understanding of both OEM and dealer operations related to warranty claims.
- In-depth knowledge of the end-to-end warranty process and how warranties function within the automotive industry.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve internal and dealer-related warranty claim issues.
- Recommend future-focused improvements aimed at reducing warranty costs and streamlining dealer claim processes.
- Participate in the development, testing, and implementation of projects related to Global Warranty Management (GWM) and warranty cost avoidance.
- Conduct audit and compliance activities related to GWM and the GM Labor Information Database (GMLID), including SOX and access control management.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of Master Data within GWM systems.
- Effectively communicate how GWM and GMLID function across various GM departments.
- Collaborate with global support teams

- In-depth knowledge of the GM Labor Information Database (GMLID) and Global Warranty Management systems.
