Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- A minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry for Engineer Sr
- A minimum fifteen (15) years of progressive engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry for Engineer Staff
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
- Proficiency in engineering specialties covering more than one subject area
Responsibilities
- Accounts for a diverse range of sophisticated assignments requiring the use of experience, innovation and judgment
- May supervise the work of others
- Demonstrates technical expertise in a specialty, geographic area, or operational function and applies specialized knowledge in the effective completion of large-scope projects
- Prepares and delivers presentations
- Anticipates internal/external customer needs; assesses requirements and identifies solutions
- Interprets internal/external business challenges and improves products, processes or services
- Collaborates with teams to ensure compliance, build improvement plans and meet training needs
- Champions processes, procedures and safety standards
- Monitors and controls costs and resources associated with projects
- Performs sophisticated technical tasks and leads teams in projects of major scope and complexity
- Participates in the development and implementation of technical standards and specifications
- Interprets technological aspects of business and coordinates with leaders to ensure success
- Handles resources requirements for projects
- Oversees systems for assessing incident severity, collecting evidence, and conducting investigations; Identifies causes, risks and recommends actions to prevent future incidents
- Provides training on investigation techniques and collaborates with teams to improve safety and compliance; Maintains a database of findings and stay updated on industry standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and minimum seven (7) years of progressive engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry and PE Certification
- Project Management experience
- Preferred: PE Certification
- Knowledge of methodologies like scene security, evidence gathering, timeline analysis, and root cause analysis; Unbiased and impartial, focusing on facts rather than fault
