Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a product analyst or similar analytical role, preferably within the insurance industry
  • Deep understanding of personal lines insurance products, policies, and customer needs
  • Proven track record of driving successful product development and enhancement initiatives
  • Expertise in data analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling, with strong proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, and data visualization software
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in digital transformation and a solid understanding of emerging technologies in the insurance industry

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on personal lines insurance products, policies, and customer needs, ensuring the company’s solutions align with industry best practices and evolving market trends.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including tech, engineering, design, and customer success, to define product requirements, roadmaps, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to uncover insights that inform product development and enhancements.
  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques, such as forecasting, modeling, and scenario planning, to assess the viability and potential impact of new product ideas and features.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases, including financial projections and return-on-investment analyses, to support product investment decisions.
  • Continuously monitor product performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and propose data-driven solutions to optimize the customer experience and drive growth.
  • Effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and decisions to key stakeholders, including executive leadership, and facilitate alignment and buy-in.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital transformation, and leverage this knowledge to enhance the company’s product strategy.
  • Mentor and develop more junior members of the product team, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
