Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2 plus years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
- Experience in meat or similar commodity sales and/or protein supply chain management preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Creative problem-solving skills are a plus.
- Excellent customer interaction skills.
- Goal-oriented with an overall positive and productive approach.
- Team player and results-driven.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating sales efforts within the Tyson sales network of national and international service centers, internal plant operations, and external customers to maximize overall product value for the Fresh Meats Group.
- Daily interaction with Plant Operations, Scheduling, Logistics, Claims, Credit, and other internal support groups, along with an established external customer base.
- Maximizing sales realizations, managing optimal inventory positions, developing value-added products, fostering new customer development, and providing exemplary customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is a plus.
- Creative problem-solving skills are a plus.
