Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience
- Solid troubleshooting skills for enterprise level production systems, to include instrument interfaces, middleware platforms, and Laboratory Information Systems
- Ability to perform file definition and configuration within Laboratory Information Systems, instrument interfaces, and middleware platforms
- Ability to create user training documentation using MS Word, MS Excel, Visio and other tools
- Ability to take initiative to learn existing applications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience in Healthcare applications and systems
- Enterprise Systems/Services/Protocols: Cache’, Antrim, HL7, ASTM
- Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
- Tools: MS Word, MS Excel, Visio
- Must be able to travel up to 25%
Responsibilities
- Conducting file definition/configuration, testing, and troubleshooting for instrument interfaces, automation, services, programs and applications
- Providing both on-site and remote training and support prior to, during and post system implementations and conversions
- Providing on call support for production systems
- Consulting with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives
- Preparing Laboratory Bulletins for instrument interfaces, middleware platforms, automation, supporting services, programs and/or applications
- Demonstrating high quality work and efficient use of time management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LCLS, Data innovations, LCWS, and SIS/SRS would be a plus
- License/Certification/Education: B.S. or a Medical Technology degree (MT or MLT) preferred, but will consider IT or Lab experience
