Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 2-year technical degree preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical and technical communication skills
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) procedures
- Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and other company representatives.
Responsibilities
- Work with Maintenance and Process Engineering in problem-solving
- Investigate root causes of repetitive problems and implement permanent corrective actions
- Work on multiple tasks with increased responsibility and exposure in various departments
- Familiarity through hands-on experience with majority of plastic resins
- Familiarity and/or experience with Injection and Compression Molding
- Exposure to and involvement in Lean Manufacturing, SQF, and GMP
- Utilize analytical, written and verbal communication skills and basic math skills
- Use and enhance computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Prepare and present complex data to multiple levels of the organization.
