Requirements
- MFA is required.
- Previous teaching experience of at least two years at the university level is required.
- Knowledgeable with all instructional approaches to drawing from historical and contemporary applications including observational, figurative, gestural and expressive approaches, experience instructing from the live model and knowledge of current theoretical trends required.
- A record of professional activity and exhibitions with a focus on drawing demonstrative of standing in the arts community required.
- Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level in the area to be taught (e.g. course evaluations, letters of reference, and/or other components of teaching dossier) is required.
Responsibilities
- Scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time (preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading and course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty).
