Requirements
- 5+ years in a leadership role, managing and scaling engineering
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering
- At least two (2) years of experience managing Software Engineering Managers
- Proven track record of delivering customer solutions
- Proven track record delivering solutions to help enable product and engineering teams
- Strong computer science foundation
Responsibilities
- Support teammates with individual goal-setting, professional development and mentoring
- Work with teams to deliver maintainable, high-quality, customer-focused products
- Hire smart, creative and kind engineers and managers
- Manage dependencies between functional teams and facilitate collaboration
- Drive projects and solve problems across the organization
- Communicate and coordinate team goals with other teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with mapping technology
- Experience working both with startups and larger growth companies
- B.S. or M.S. in computer science or a related field or experience
