Responsibilities
- Manage a team of enablement resource leads across the strategic operations for Business Technology and continue to develop their skills.
- Prioritize initiatives and tasks for the team, while providing assistance as needed.
- Partner closely with key stakeholders and the Employee & Executive Communications Team counterparts to develop proactive and reactive communications to Workmates on meaningful and relevant updates, including news-related items.
- Develop the voice of the Business Technology organization and work across Workday to improve the understanding and key objectives of the organization.
- Create plans for key projects to enable the function, strategic partnerships and day-to-day operations across various sites.
- Collaborate and advise other team members on how to inform and engage their functions within Business Technology.
- Create templates, implement guidelines, and best practices for announcements, newsletters, and presentations for internal operational reviews, stakeholder updates and functional specific information sharing.
- Communicate program and process changes to Senior Leadership to ensure buy-in and provide consistency across teams.
- Leads change management & enablement communication with a structured methodology / process.
- Devises core themes, messages, and methods to advance change.
- Serve as a change champion by inspiring project leaders and stakeholders to be change enthusiasts.
- Apply structured change methodologies that integrate with project and program management to create strategies that support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
- Defines success metrics and measures performance against these.
- Oversee a team of communication leads, assigning tasks and projects based on priority while supporting their professional development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create and deliver timely internal communications, using various channels like email, Slack, presentations and intranet updates to keep Workmates informed.
- Lead the development and implementation of communication strategies for key Business Technology projects.
- Create and maintain a consistent voice for the Business Technology organization, ensuring its key objectives are understood across Workday.
- Partner with other teams to align communication efforts and provide guidance on effective storytelling.
- Establish standardized templates, guidelines and best practices for communications within the Business Technology organization.
- Proactively seek opportunities to foster collaboration and communication between the Business Technology team and Workmates.
- Lead change management and communication efforts by defining key messages, strategies and success metrics while championing change adoption across the organization.
- Ensure senior leadership alignment on program and process changes through clear and consistent communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and a proven capability to manage everything from strategy to details as well as comfortable multitasking and prioritizing different requests.
- Excellent critical thinking, writing, communication, problem-solving, technical, and analytical skills. Knowledge of different communication channels and strategy.
- Understanding and knowledge of multiple communication channels.
- Track record of presenting to senior executives; establishing trusted and positive relationships.
- Internal communications experience is a plus.
