Financial Analyst

Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
2-4 years of directly related experience required
Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to details
Very strong in Excel and Power Point
Ability to communicate effectively with managers and employees
Organized and time management is essential
Excellent problem-solving skills
Action oriented with ability to multi-task
Team player with a positive, can do attitude and agility to multiple work streams
SAP experience is a +

Prepare detailed annual financial budget & monthly financial forecasts
Assist with preparation of weekly, monthly & quarter financial analysis schedules of actual vs budget variances
Provide analysis support to various areas
Assist with completion of SOX compliance reporting
Work to implement and apply cost accounting policies and procedures
Support Plant Controller’s efforts for implementing and maintaining internal controls
Analyze financial performance and create action plans for unfavorable gaps
Prepare and process assigned daily/monthly journal entries
Establish processes to reduce production costs
Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators
Support the local plant budgeting process of the fixed and variable expenses
Prepares, reports actual vs. budget results on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly presentations
Maintains the packaging standards costing files and tracks daily performances of packaging to earned standards
Assist with Submitting SOX compliance reports
Create Ad hoc reports to support management decisions
