Requirements
- 12+ years of overall work experience
- 5+ years Congressional experience
- 3+ years lobbying experience
- Demonstrated ability to devise multifaceted issue campaigns and advance advocacy strategies to a positive conclusion on behalf of an organization or Member of Congress
- Understands Medicare Advantage policy at a deep level, as well as the complexity of the issue within the enterprise, Congress, and the Administration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and execute CVS Health’s advocacy work on Medicare Advantage
- Develop and lead legislative advocacy strategies to support the company’s advocacy/reputation agenda
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key Members of Congress
- Partner closely with internal policy teams and coordinate with cross-company business teams to educate policy makers about key company initiatives
- Communicate effectively and comfortably with senior executives and high-level government officials
