Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in actuarial, statistics, or similar field
- Minimum of 7 combined total Exams and Years’ Experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with strong time management and organizational skills
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Self-starter with a track record of adapting new techniques and driving process improvements
- Ability to develop practical business solutions aligned with strategic objectives
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence peers and stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert on cross-functional and high-impact initiatives
- Serve as a liaison between actuarial, business, and systems teams on assigned projects
- Lead or support the development of rating plans, new products, pricing processes, and methodologies
- Coach and mentor junior actuarial staff; review and delegate work as appropriate
- Develop deep expertise in actuarial data systems; identify and address data limitations and flow issues
- Clearly communicate complex analyses and insights to internal stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations
- Support Pricing and Risk leadership in implementing rate changes, regulatory filings, and product introductions
- Ensure compliance with CAS and CIA Standards of Practice
Preferred Qualifications
- ACAS designation or completion of Actuarial Exam 5
- Experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) pricing and regulatory filings
