Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in actuarial, statistics, or similar field
  • Minimum of 7 combined total Exams and Years’ Experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Self-starter with a track record of adapting new techniques and driving process improvements
  • Ability to develop practical business solutions aligned with strategic objectives
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence peers and stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert on cross-functional and high-impact initiatives
  • Serve as a liaison between actuarial, business, and systems teams on assigned projects
  • Lead or support the development of rating plans, new products, pricing processes, and methodologies
  • Coach and mentor junior actuarial staff; review and delegate work as appropriate
  • Develop deep expertise in actuarial data systems; identify and address data limitations and flow issues
  • Clearly communicate complex analyses and insights to internal stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations
  • Support Pricing and Risk leadership in implementing rate changes, regulatory filings, and product introductions
  • Ensure compliance with CAS and CIA Standards of Practice

Preferred Qualifications

  • ACAS designation or completion of Actuarial Exam 5
  • Experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) pricing and regulatory filings
