Requirements
- 3 years of sales experience
- 1 year of outside sales experience with air compressor service or industrial sales (examples: automotive, heavy equipment, rental yard, industrial supplies, etc)
- Strong inter-personal (people) skills with good aptitude to understand technical processes and mechanical systems
- Strong verbal, written and electronic communication skills
- Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines
Responsibilities
- Conduct “business to business” sales calls on manufacturing and food processing facilities throughout the region for parts, service, and service agreements
- Manage all aspects of the Sales process including selling preventative maintenance contracts with new equipment, as well as new customer acquisition, and customer retention
- Prepares and sends product specifications and quotation packages to customers
- Makes follow-up calls and responds to customer inquiries
- Maintains contact with customers before, during and after each sale to ensure customer satisfaction and responsiveness to customer needs
- Travels daily within assigned territory to customer locations when necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
