Requirements
- 5+ years of financial services or employee benefits experience, including any knowledge of retirement plans and investments preferred
- Series 65 registration
- Exceptional customer service experience
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems
- Ability to interact with people across all levels of the business
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Work closely with RPW leaders and advisors on retirement plan client service and interaction
- Lead and manage the client relationship for 40 – 80 clients, including scheduling and holding review meetings with the Retirement Committee members
- Proactively and timely prepare internal reports, spreadsheets, and analysis on client service needs to reveal opportunities for advice and counsel
- Coordinate with the Client Service Associate to prepare the review materials
- Complete follow-up items and documentation post review meeting
- Proactively complete special projects and requests as needed
- Generate reports with detail and precision across key data points, including industry statistics, client-specific usage and success metrics, and other areas
- Provide consultation and advice to clients and retirement committees across numerous retirement plan-related topics, including fiduciary governance and oversight, investment due diligence, plan design and strategy, vendor/recordkeeper management, and employee education and engagement
- Interact in a professional manner with third-party service providers including mutual funds companies and others building our strong, positive reputation in the industry
- Develop sales strategies consistent with overall goals and business objectives for the firm
- Track and maintain sales, identify cross-selling opportunities, and employ consultative sales process
- Maintain sales funnel; track new prospects and review incoming prospective plans
- Follow up on new leads or warm prospects as identified by advisor; use lead advisor to close plans as necessary
- Participate in prospective client introductory and sales meetings (with Principals) to discuss and present role on the team and our holistic service model
- Measure, track, and maintain accountability for specific goals, both individually and as a team
