Requirements
- Associated Degree from a two-year college in Materials Management, Logistics, or related business field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas is required: warehouse, procurement, and/or maintenance.
- Experience and proficiency in computer-based purchasing and inventory required.
- Knowledge of supply management and warehouse inventory principles is required.
- Communicates effectively and has exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Must maintain a clean and safe working environment in all assigned warehouse locations
- Ensures accuracy of shipments and inventory transactions
- Generates daily reorder reports, monitors inventory levels, and adjusts inventory min/max accordingly
- Works closely with accounting, purchasing and client on inventory and purchase order concerns
- Fully responsible for managing and completing a warehouse inventory audit at least annually
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree with a major in a similar or related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience working in a warehouse with material handling and inventory control highly preferred.
- Experience working in an industrial manufacturing / processing environment is preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of management/supervisory experience highly desirable.
