Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
- 4+ years of proven experience in outside Direct sales within an assigned territory is required.
- 2+ years of sales experience in the Public Sector preferred.
- 2+ years in telecom or technology sales strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of Account Management and strategic selling preferred.
- Strong presentation skills are required.
- Possesses strong strategic selling skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills are required.
- Good proven understanding of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong technical abilities and ability to learn new concepts quickly.
- Strong problem-solving abilities are key to the role.
- Demonstrate ability to work with internal teams.
- Ability to develop deep client relationships that will lead to developing long-term strategic relationships.
- Strong organizational and territory management skills are key for this role.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities within the assigned portfolio of existing and target accounts.
- Exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals in the various assigned categories while maintaining appropriate customer churn goals.
- Negotiate agreements and lead the contract negotiations as necessary.
- Maintain a high level of in-person customer meetings to build deep client relationships.
- Sell the total portfolio of T-Mobile solutions by engaging in deep conversations with clients.
- Coordinate with the Account Management, Dedicated care, and other support members of the team to ensure a strong customer life cycle and to maximize the revenue and loyalty of our customer base.
- Extensive and effective use of salesforce.com as well as other internal systems to ensure effective reporting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Engage in customer presentations and attend events as the need arises to promote the brand and engage with clients.
- Engage with internal stakeholders as the need arises to attain specific goals including operations, marketing, legal, compliance, Government affairs, pricing, and others as required to achieve objectives.
- Complete continuous training to maintain knowledge of products, services, and sales approaches.
- Attain productivity and sales goals based on targeted metrics.
- Demonstrate positive and collaborative behavior with customers and coworkers.
- Disburse adjustments and credits as appropriate within established limits and criteria.
- Responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
