Requirements
- Completed a US approved residency in Anesthesiology or equivalent training and certification
- Completed a Fellowship in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management or substantial experience in the area
- Board Eligibility or Certification in Anesthesiology is required
- Equivalence to board certification can be determined on a case-by-case basis
Responsibilities
- Perform and supervise all commonly utilized peripheral and neuraxial nerve block techniques
- Manage acute pain patients and acute-on chronic pain patients in an inpatient setting
- Supervise residents and fellows
- Perform procedures independently if required
- Participate in academic activities including teaching and mentoring trainees and participating in departmental conferences and faculty meetings
- Be on call for 1 week including 1 weekend per month
Preferred Qualifications
- Research experience is highly desirable
