Requirements
- Successful completion of a recognized and accredited Nursing/RN education program (education will be verified)
- Current RN License in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- RNs with less than 12 months of working experience as an RN prior to joining Intermountain must obtain their BSN within five years of their start date.
Responsibilities
- Work under direct line-of-sight supervision of the Registered Nurse in the clinical setting
- Participate appropriately in the patient care delivery process
- Orient to the RN assignment, excluding independent nursing care
- Participate in medication administration under the direction and supervision of the licensed RN
