Requirements
- Pharm.D. and 2 years’ experience in pharmacy
- Active pharmacist license, in good standing, in state of practice
- Proven experience in retail, central fill, or mail order pharmacy operations management, with a focus on quality and safety
- Strong analytical skills to prepare, review, and analyze business reports
- Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities to develop and motivate your team
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including HIPAA compliance
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with various stakeholders
- Must be able to acquire Pharmacy Technician licence within 1 year of hire.
Responsibilities
- Oversee front and back-end pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all regulations
- Implement operational improvements and manage workflow to optimize cost per prescription
- Forecast staffing needs and manage performance to meet business demands
- Collaborate with Home Office Replenishment to maintain proper inventory levels
- Supervise and develop pharmacists and pharmacy associates, fostering a team-based work environment
