Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in event planning, hospitality, or administrative support
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and coordinating event logistics, including venue arrangements, catering, and vendor communication
  • Support onsite event setup, registration, and breakdown
  • Maintain accurate records of event budgets, timelines, and contact lists
  • Communicate with clients and vendors to ensure all event details are accurate and up to date
  • Assist with the creation of event materials such as schedules, signage, and checklists
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations during event execution
