Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 14 years of experience, A Master’s degree with 12 years of experience or a PhD with 9 years of experience in Electrical Engineering
  • U.S Citizenship with an active DoD Secret Clearance
  • 1 year experience with Northrop’s Secure Processing products either through hands on development or through using program application
  • 5 years of experience in systems development, integration, and test for DoD systems
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication to customers, program management, and technical teams
  • Prior experience developing technology roadmaps and experience briefing to strategy recommendations to business executives
  • In-depth understanding of MRL and TRL and experience with advancing lower TRL/MRL technology into demonstratable systems
  • Experience with HFSS, PCB/CCA Design, and Digital/Analog & Analog/Digital Conversation Technology
  • Experience with leading Internal Research and Development (IRAD) Efforts

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the technical execution of all DSDS technology and product development and maturation (This includes but not limited to ACT MCM PL, Rock Ridge and COTS data convertor solutions)
  • Oversees program planning activities, providing broad perspective on stakeholder needs and product line priorities
  • Supports quick resolution of pop up issues, collaborating with technical staff and the program support staff
  • Tracks and supports the mediation of risks associated with product performance and program execution
  • Prepares communication with executive leadership, clearly articulating achievements, technical status, and execution needs
  • Final technical adjudicator of the program Technical Review Board (TRB)
  • Closely follows the high-speed data converter and micro electronics industries and market
  • Understands the cost and performance of various technology solutions, supports MAKE/BUY trades of internal versus external technologies and products for using programs Responsible for developing common subsystem implementation requirements and design guidelines using DSDS technologies and products
  • Works directly with using programs to understand technical requirements and develop solutions using DSDS technologies and products
  • Ensures using program follow design guidelines to maximize commonality and reuse
  • Chairs the DSDS Strategy Authority Board with stakeholder programs
  • Works directly with ECD OUs to pursue CRAD funding for next generation DSDS technologies and products
  • Mentors other technical leaders on the DSDS program

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or PhD in STEM related field
  • Domain expertise in defense electronic systems
  • Familiarity with Earned Value, Scheduling, and Agile Principles
  • Understanding of DoD systems engineering requirements
  • Experience with NG ACT MCM Technology and experience with how ACT MCM Technology is fielded within NG Products
