Requirements
- BA/BS Degree in business, supply chain, business management, or related discipline
- 3-5+ years professional experience, including 1+ year(s) in supplier management, buying, or contract negotiations; proficient in supplier life cycle management
- Must have familiarity with using procurement software systems; experience with PO data analysis, procurement reporting, and dashboard tools
- Problem solving capability, critical thinking, an analytical approach toward leveraging data insights for strategic decision-making
Responsibilities
- Supports the development and execution of cross-functional strategies that drive procurement maturity, organizational growth and alignment.
- Develop strategies for managing a diverse group of vendors servicing multiple indirect categories and work with the procurement operations team to implement such strategies
- Provide expert advice on procurement strategies and use supplier data to help teams optimize their procurement processes
- Create clear, compelling presentations and documents that effectively communicate strategy recommendations to senior leaders.
- Translate data and insights into visually engaging and easily understandable narratives
- Identify, initiate, and drive process and system improvements; Collaborate with Product Managers to improve Procurement and Supplier Management systems
- Analyze large data sets to discover issues and optimization opportunities; Develop metrics/reports that can monitor the performance of suppliers
- Provide regular reporting on suppliers’ performance, risks, and compliance issues to procurement leaders and management teams.
- Foster strong working relationships with procurement teams, buyers, and business teams to identify emerging business needs and advise on sourcing and supplier selection
- Collaborate with procurement and cross-functional teams to identify supplier capabilities and provide relevant information to improve negotiations or contract terms.
- Work closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk Control, Finance, Payment, and other relevant teams to ensure supplier management processes align with company standards and local laws.
- Monitoring vendors’ performance to ensure compliance with company policies and that suppliers’ performances reflect contract requirements and business demands
- Establishing standards to assess risk factors and performance levels of vendors
- Govern the framework of supplier performance evaluations, setting policies, and guiding stakeholders to carry out vendor management responsibilities
- Partner with team members and stakeholders to deliver project objectives effectively and efficiently
- Act as a thought partner to cross-functional teams to develop project plans, extract key insights from analyses, identify cross-functional dependencies, and set ambitious but achievable timelines
- Problem-solve with project teams to overcome risks and challenges that arise throughout the course of the project; Facilitate cross-functional meetings and ensure timely follow-up on action items

Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management certification/experience; Demonstrated ability to build relationships and hold stakeholders and partners accountable
- Solid understanding of local laws, regulations, and business customs in the Americas and other countries
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and navigate complex business landscapes; strong sense of responsibility and professionalism
- Be a self starter and take initiative; comfortable working independently and in teams, and liaise with other functions and senior leadership
