Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A, capital allocation, or related financial roles of increasing responsibility.
  • Proficiency in Smartsheets and other financial tools/software (e.g., Excel, Hyperion, ERP systems).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize and interpret large sets of complex data for communication with Executive Leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams in a highly matrixed Environment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support an 18 month rolling forecast, budgeting, and long-term planning.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of capital allocation decisions with organizational goals.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of capital investments, ensuring they deliver expected returns and meet strategic objectives.
  • Leverage Smartsheets to streamline workflows, track project progress, and manage data effectively.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, templates, and reports within Smartsheets to enhance team collaboration and visibility.
  • Train team members on Smartsheets best practices and ensure consistent usage across the organization.
  • Apply GE Aerospace’s proprietary lean operating model, FLIGHT DECK, to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Use FLIGHT DECK tools and methodologies to identify inefficiencies, optimize processes, and enhance team performance.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment with FLIGHT DECK principles and contribute to the organization’s lean transformation goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Aerospace & Defense or other highly complex manufacturing industries.
