Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or professional diploma with significant professional experience
  • 10+ years of experience in system architecture, design, development, and deployment
  • Proven experience as an Active Directory Administrator and Entra ID in a large enterprise environment
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server operating systems and associated technologies
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for task automation and management
  • Experience with Group Policy management and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of security best practices and the ability to implement security measures within Active Directory and Entra ID
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions for Active Directory

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain structures that align with organizational requirements and best practices
  • Create, modify, and manage user and service accounts, groups, and permissions to ensure secure and efficient access to network resources
  • Develop and enforce Group Policies to standardize and secure desktop and server configurations, application settings, and security settings across the network
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to Active Directory and Entra ID, authentication, multi-factor authentication (MFA) and access control in a timely and efficient manner
  • Implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access and ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies
  • Establish and maintain reliable backup and recovery processes for Active Directory, ensuring minimal downtime in the event of data loss or system failure
  • Work closely with other IT teams to integrate Active Directory and Entra ID services with other systems, applications, and infrastructure components
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, policies, and procedures
  • Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and updates to ensure the security and performance of the Active Directory environment
  • Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address issues and generate regular reports on system performance and security

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate are a plus
  • Experience Architecting/Designing Systems following Security best practices and principles
  • Experience in architecting/designing within Microsoft Infrastructure and Applications (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, System Center/Intune, SCCM, Windows Server etc.)
  • Experience in architecting/designing within Microsoft M365 Platform technologies
  • Experience in architecting/designing within cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
