Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start date
  • Experience with U.S. Government contracts

Responsibilities

  • Review customer requests for quotes, identify proposal requirements, and assist in proposal development
  • Analyze and redline contractual terms and conditions for acceptability, assessing risk and providing mitigation strategies
  • Monitor contract compliance and oversee the execution of contract deliverables
  • Ensure timely communication of contract information and resolution of issues with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead negotiations, structure agreements, and administer contractual documents to ensure alignment with company policies and government regulations
  • Support customer meetings and negotiations, which may require occasional travel
  • Recognize and address risk elements in business transactions and contracts, offering mitigation alternatives
  • Ensure adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS) International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), and other applicable government regulations
  • Drive continuous improvement in contract management practices, tools, and processes
  • Collaborate with finance, pricing, and legal teams to achieve business and financial objectives

  • Experience with administration and negotiation of complex proposals and contracts
  • Ability to analyze complex business scenarios, identify risks, and develop effective solutions
  • Proven track record of independently managing workloads and driving issues to resolution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft and deliver clear, concise business correspondence
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and leadership teams
