Requirements
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Responsibilities
- Completion of a comprehensive training roadmap
- Following all company SOPs at each workstation
- Following pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
- Contributing to positive patient experiences
- Offering to counsel and fielding medical questions under supervision
- Taking telephonic prescriptions and clarifying them with prescribers
- Maintaining self-awareness and providing coaching to team members
- Completing basic inventory activities as directed
- Contributing to a high-performing team and embracing a growth mindset
- Remaining flexible for scheduling and business needs
- Understanding and complying with all relevant laws and regulations
- Delivering additional patient health care services where allowable
- Completing additional licensure and training requirements for Technician Immunizer status
- Educating patients about vaccines and monitoring for adverse reactions
- Reviewing and collecting patient information
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Ability to become immunization certified
- Ability to work in home store and across the market in other locations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
