Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Electrical Engineering degree preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in PLC Programming
- 2+ years of experience in Manufacturing systems
- 1+ years of experience working in a paint shop
- Proficient knowledge in Rockwell PLCs, Siemens HMIs, Fanuc Robots, AGVs
- Working knowledge of process equipment operations, sequence, error proofing and diagnostics capabilities.
- Must be able to work a rotating shift, as needed
- Must be able to work over time and weekends, as needed
Responsibilities
- Work autonomously with occasional guidance from the Lead Controls Engineer and supervision.
- Support manufacturing departments as per production shift schedules and weekends.
- Responsible for equipment related to the manufacturing process.
- Support Continuous Improvement activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Ethernet networks (IECN).
- Knowledge of vision systems and bar code scanners (Matrox, Cognex, Keyence, SICK, Honeywell).
- Experience with Diagnosis process equipment failures.
- Knowledge of drives / motion control.
- Knowledge of Auto Cad and or Electrical drawings.
- Knowledge of automated welding and adhesive/sealing dispense.
- Knowledge in computing languages like VB, C+, .Net
