Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, equity research, private equity, or corporate development with a preference for A&D or Tech Industries
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA, CFA is a plus)
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, startup environment paired with exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated success in fundraising, investor relations, and/or M&A transactions including valuation, financial modeling, and due diligence
- Strong financial modeling and valuation experience, with the ability to build robust, dynamic models for strategic planning and scenario analysis
- Deep knowledge of corporate finance and/or capital markets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability and desire to collaborate cross-functionally
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office application suite
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Director of Finance in evaluation of opportunities and deployment of capital across organic and inorganic investment opportunities: Drive analysis and understanding of strategic opportunities including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships ensuring alignment with company objectives; Prepare materials and present findings / recommendations to Senior and Executive Leadership, and where necessary the Board of Directors and investors
- Investor Relations and Fundraising: Prepare and maintain materials such as recurring and one-off investor updates and company overview materials; Support fundraising efforts, including equity and debt financing, by preparing detailed analysis, developing investor materials, managing due diligence, and engaging in investor conversations
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and valuation assessments to build and maintain understanding of our competitive landscape as well as to identify and evaluate growth opportunities
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, BD, and Programs) to drive corporate-level financial planning and capital allocation processes to support growth initiatives and resource prioritization
- Maintain True Anomaly’s long-term financial model and accompanying long-range plan living document to guide leadership in strategic decision-making and scenario analysis
- Forecast and analyze key performance metrics, identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for financial and operational improvement
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and one-off Board of Directors meeting materials
- Prepare and deliver ad-hoc analysis to support dynamic strategic decisions such as new business opportunities, customer / market shifts, or operational risks, ensuring timely and actionable insight
