Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in internal communications, employer brand, employee experience, or a related field.
  • People-first mindset with the emotional intelligence to support teams through change, challenge, and growth.
  • Proven track record owning company-wide comms and executive messaging.
  • Experience partnering on employer branding or talent marketing initiatives.
  • Strong writing and narrative development skills.
  • Prior experience shaping workplace or hub strategy is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead the company-wide internal communications strategy to drive clarity, alignment, and cultural connection.
  • Implement programs that engage, inspire, and align employees with HackerOne’s brand, mission, values, and key initiatives.
  • Champion a flexible workplace by supporting both global hubs and remote teams, introducing best practices that adapt to varied workstyles, and driving a strong documentation-first culture that keeps everyone aligned and informed.
  • Craft and support executive communications for key leaders and company-wide initiatives.
  • Evolve internal communications channels (All Hands, newsletters, Slack, intranet) to improve reach and relevance.
  • Build toolkits and frameworks for manager and leader communication.
  • Curate and oversee the calendar of employee experiences and cultural moments, both virtual and in-person.
  • Lead the strategy for our company hubs and Workplaces to ensure centralized locations support collaboration, connection, and a consistent employee experience.
  • Bring intentionality to milestone moments (onboarding, anniversaries, celebrations) that reinforce pride and inclusion.
  • Develop and own our Employer Value Proposition (EVP), ensuring it resonates with both candidates and employees.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Marketing to activate the brand through career content, social campaigns, and reputation platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Glassdoor).
  • Co-lead recruitment marketing efforts in partnership with Talent Acquisition, including management of an external agency to increase creative capacity and output.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience shaping workplace or hub strategy is a plus.
