Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required, Masters preferred. PhD a plus
- 15+ years’ experience in Electrical Engineering with a transient simulation skill set.
- Working knowledge of one or more of the following: 2D/3D Electro Magnetic Finite Element Analysis, System Modeling (Mathcad, Matlab, Flux2D), Acoustics, Thermal Analysis
- Must be a team player and have knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Must be US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance
Responsibilities
- Designs and analyzes complex electro-mechanical components and systems for pumps, motors and generators using engineering expertise.
- Conducts studies and testing on new and modified designs.
- Directs others in the development of design information for use in reports, specifications, and drawings.
- Serves as leader for technical teams.
- Plans and coordinates the execution of complex engineering solutions including documentation, reporting, publishing, and making technical presentations.
- Provides guidance and expertise in electrical engineering to design complex rotating equipment and systems and to investigate, evaluate and develop new applications for existing equipment and systems.
- Designs and conducts experiments, collects data, and interprets results.
- Conducts analyses and writes analysis and test reports using engineering expertise.
- Leads technical teams in design and analytical activities for product design and development and production.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred experience with ability to perform analysis and studies with strong attention to details in a fast-paced environment and Electrical design team leadership.
