Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare intake coordination, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Responsibilities
- Manage the intake process from referral to admission.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers for smooth patient transitions.
- Assess patient eligibility based on guidelines.
- Supervise and support intake coordinators and administrative staff.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Oversee training and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Build and maintain relationships with referral sources.
- Implement strategies to increase referrals and market share.
- Collaborate with the sales team for smooth transitions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare software systems (HCHB and PointCare).
