Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Minimum EIGHT (8) years of professional experience in software development, data engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum FIVE (5) years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry development and architecture.
- Deep understanding of Palantir Foundry concepts, including Ontology Management, Data Connection, Data Transformation, and Application Building.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of Palantir Foundry solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain data models, data pipelines, and data transformations within the Foundry environment.
- Configure and customize Foundry applications to meet specific client needs.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers, mentoring them on best practices and Foundry development techniques.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the Foundry environment.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for Foundry development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Palantir Foundry features and capabilities.
- Present technical solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Assist with pre-sales activities, including developing proposals and presenting technical demonstrations.
- Travel to client sites as needed (up to 25% travel).
- Work in an agile/scrum team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Palantir Foundry certifications (e.g., Foundry Certified Developer, Foundry Certified Architect).
- Experience with specific Foundry applications or modules (e.g., Gotham, Nexus Peering).
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience working in a consulting environment.
- Experience with data security and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Experience with specific industry domains (e.g., healthcare, financial services, energy).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
