Requirements
- Highly proficient in Python, C#
- Expert understanding of SQL Server databases
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab CI)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
- Developer Tools (ex: GitLab, Jenkins)
- Understanding of performance testing and optimization
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing and end-to-end testing frameworks
- Knowledge of equities / background in finance.
Responsibilities
- Supporting and progressively refactoring the code used to generate and process Factor based index products
- Ensuring correct tooling standards are being followed as well as automation of operational tasks
- Ensuring an acceptable level of IT operations performance and error risk in line with service level agreements (SLAs)
- Continuously review operating metrics and data to identify opportunities to improve.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-On experience of working on Windows Servers.
- 8 years + experience in software development
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Managing incidents, change requests, service requests calls.
- Strong troubleshooting skills on these platforms.
- Direct experience of working with Index products.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with all levels of staff, both orally and written.
- Ability to manage own work and multitask to meet tight deadlines without losing sight of priorities under minimum supervision.
- Highly motivated, self-directed individual with a positive & pro-active attitude to work.
- Customer and service focused, with determination to meet their needs and expectations.
