Requirements

  • Advanced degree and 3+ years Materials / Inventory management, Supply Chain, Supplier Management or Planning experience; OR a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant industry experience; OR associate’s degree and 7+ years of relevant industry experience; We will also consider 9+ years of relevant industry experience in the absence of a college degree.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of a cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks related to material management and manpower, proactively resolving issues that may impact material flow and project success.
  • Develop inventory plan to ensure key process indicators such as investments, inventory turns, and service level are achieved.
  • Coordinate and facilitate effective communication between team members, suppliers, and customers, ensuring alignment on project goals, milestones, and requirements.
  • Develop metrics, tools, and analytics to provide regular reports on sales and inventory to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the project, with a focus on continuous process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in STEM field
  • Inventory and/or Materials management experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI, Excel and Data Analytics tools
  • Project management experience and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma)
  • Experience working with SAP Materials Management or Warehouse modules and MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate across the organization, as well as suppliers and customers
