Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in contract lifecycle preferably in an Owner team environment. Experience in LNG construction of facilities and pipeline is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Essential grammar knowledge and punctuation proficiency for technical and commercial writing.
- Ability to build relationships and engage with internal and external stakeholders with a collaborative, service-oriented approach.
- Adept understanding of commercial terms and conditions in contracting.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and adhere to Company’s contract processes and industry best practices.
- Detailed oriented focusing on high-quality work with accuracy and efficiency to minimize errors and ensure thoroughness.
- Ability to work independently, organize workload, communicate with multiple third parties, and manage contracts of multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience using Coupa, Arriba or related contract management platforms.
Responsibilities
- Administration of all aspects of contract lifecycle consistent with key stakeholder engagement for expenditure authorizations; contractor prequalification risk profile analysis; facilitation of internal contract initiation approvals; contract formation, negotiation, execution, and closeout.
- Collaborate and serve as a liaison with internal cross-function teams to ensure proper documentation, contract compliance and to integrate project specific requirements.
- Ensure internal reviews and approvals are received from key stakeholders for contract deviations that arise during negotiations.
- Facilitate internal workflows, centralize and maintain contract data through Coupa CLM system.
- Track critical contract dates, deadlines, and progress for contract-related tasks, milestones, schedules and deliverables. Follow-up with internal stakeholders to drive progress.
- Actively monitor and assess contractor’s flow-down compliance throughout contract lifecycle.
- Ensure rigorous discipline of contractual requirements for contract administration.
- Evaluate and monitor contractor performance to determine necessity for amendments, extensions of contracts, and contract obligations.
- Participate in project related meetings regarding internal stakeholders contracting needs by developing agendas, determining actions items, documenting and pursuance of action items.
- Ensure the capture of project close-out information to improve contract management for future capital projects.
- Provide contract related functional support and duties across capital project portfolio as assigned or delegated.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in LNG construction of facilities and pipeline is preferred.
