Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Over 15 years of experience in the design and development of power electronics/power conversion products.
- Proven track record of delivering creative and practical solutions for complex power electronics problems.
- Expertise in leading new power system development, including DC/DC, AC/DC rectifiers, solar inverters, UPS, and variable speed drives, with a solid understanding of power electronics fundamentals.
- Knowledge of power converter modeling and simulation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional project teams and deliver executive-level briefings.
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Innovate and design the next generation of power conversion solutions, analyzing performance, cost, reliability, and availability trade-offs.
- Lead high-power projects involving new technologies or novel applications of existing technologies for cutting-edge green energy solutions.
- Partner with industry leaders to evaluate and adopt the most compelling cutting-edge technologies.
- Engage cross-functionally to ensure successful roll-out, testing, and complete validation of new systems.
- Provide technical leadership and direction while troubleshooting complex system-level power delivery issues.
