Requirements
- Knowledge of the National Electric Codes
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- 2-5 Years of relevant work experience
Responsibilities
- Overseeing/monitoring the activities of Construction Technicians and/or contractors
- Perform quality audits for construction business partners
- Handle customer escalations via Phone, email and using the ECM ticketing system
- Attend in-person meetings with property owners, township officials, and other stakeholders
- Manage large-scale projects, including planning build paths and reading fiber and HFC designs
- Host project meetings to ensure alignment and progress and meet deadlines
- Prepare production and financial forecasting
- Manage the project’s capital budget, ensuring compliance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and approving invoices
- Ensures the execution of overhead/underground construction duties
- Investigates and monitors accurate record keeping
- Instructs work site safety standards and conducts work site visits
- Ensures that resources are maintained in proper working order
- Supports Specialists and leadership team with coordination of projects
- Generates logs and reports on construction, projects, materials, and expenditures
- Reviews, resolves, follows-up customer request and complaints
- Monitors performance of construction crew to established goals and objectives
- Advises, trains, and guides technicians
- Assists with the annual plant construction budget
- Performs on the field ride-out/walk-out of project sites
- Coordinates all phases of construction projects
- Oversees the activity of subcontractors
- Meets and interacts with Government/Town officials and representatives
- Provides technical advice and engineering support to other departments
- Develops cost estimates for a project, monitors job costs, evaluates change orders and controls the cost of work in progress to budget
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with permitting processes is desirable
